Jennifer L. Davidson is the creator of Rochester Writing Lab for the sole purpose of providing opportunity for those creative types who want to delve deeper into the literary arts.

She has written three books in the Kody Burkoff Mystery Series and is hard at work on her fourth stand-alone novel. She enjoys writing, reading, and sharing with others all that she’s learned while climbing, crawling, and skipping along the winding, and sometimes treacherous, path to becoming an author.

The Reason Behind RWL

We are advocates for the literary arts and believe every student, no matter the age, deserves a chance to explore their creative side, because not all of us grow up to become mathematicians, scientists, or doctors. Some of us can't help but find beauty in words, constantly striving to write that perfect paragraph that will move a reader to tears (from sadness, fear, or maybe even both!). So, if RWL can provide an opportunity for those students who have a story to tell, then we feel like we're doing something good in the world. And in the end, that's all that really matters.
