Try these additional prompts to make your dinnertime conversation a little more lively!

#2 - A boy finds an invitation in his locker to a birthday party for a kid in his class whom he's never talked to before. Being curious, he rides his bike to the party later that night and is amazed at what he sees. It's out of this world!


#3 - A scaredy-cat spider is accidentally swallowed by a girl. Discuss the spider's terror as it travels through the body and out. Next, discuss the girl's reaction. Does she know? If yes, how does she attempt to get the spider out?


#4 - A mom eats an expired can of black beans. Now, whenever she tells her children a lie her tongue swells to the size of a small lemon. What lies does she tell them? How does she fix this problem?


#5 - A dad watches football for 48 straight hours. When he finally decides to leave the couch, he realizes his bottom has melted into the fabric. How does each family member react? How does he get himself unstuck?
